About Stabilised Linseed Meal:

Food grade full-fat milled linseeds (Non-GMO) are used. Antioxidants help preserve the purity and integrity of the oil while making the proteins highly useable for equine use.  None of the natural oils are removed or expelled during the process leaving all of the nutritious and desirable Omega 3 fatty acids intact. Lab tested 25% Omega 3 at room temperature. There are no added/artificial preservatives.

How does Turmeric act as an anti-inflammatory?
It contains Curcumin which is a biologically active phytochemical that inhibits the COX-2, while maintaining COX-1 enzymatic function. Therefore reducing inflammation and pain without the side effects.

Researchers from ?? Germany and The UK ?? revealed that curcumin significantly reduces the inflammatory pathways found in horses suffering from osteoarthritis. (1)
?The underlying cause of pain is due to a release of cytokines and reactive oxygen species (inflammatory substances) that can lead to further degradation of joint tissue. By Inhibiting COX-2 while preserving COX-1 enzyme the inflammation and pain is controlled and stomach lining is protected.

Serving Suggestions:

Serving Size: 40 grams/day. One (1) level scoop
Feed daily mixed well with feed. 40g/day (1 full scoop) for a 500kg horse.
Can be split into 20g morning and night.
